We recognize that many of our customers are operating within Lean Manufacturing, Kanban or Dock to Stock programs. As part of our commitment to support these programs, as well as our ISO13485 certified customers, we have developed three levels of Managed Inventory Care. These programs are designed to provide volume pricing while allowing the customer to control their financial exposure to finished goods, WIP etc.
These programs were designed to provide an increased level of delivery guarantee, while upper tier options allow for finished goods that are available for immediate release at all times.
Below is a brief summary of program benefits:
Firm PO Program
This program allows the customer to place quantity and ship date specific purchase orders for multiple releases of a product. No finished goods inventory is provided in this program.
Planned PO Program
This program allows the customer to place a blanket order with scheduled release quantities and ship dates. Labels Incorporated will convert and store product per terms of agreement.
Min/Max - Kanban Program
This program requires both companies to enter into a letter of intent (LOI) agreement. These basics of this agreement are that once exposure levels are agreed to, minimum amounts of WIP and Finished goods are available at all times. In turn the customer guarantees Labels Incorporated financial coverage. This program is best suited for large volume products that are considered critical components by the customer.
